I am delighted to be in here in sunny Newcastle today to present JDR employee of the year award.

I find it amazing how only one person can be chosen from such a large number of excellent employees.

However the person who will be crowned employee of the year and receive the $500 cheque along with their name on this plaque has some hard criteria to meet.

For example

Although many of you have met your work targets, this doesn't automatically put you in the running for employee of the year. You have to contribute more to the company.

How many people do you know volunteer on your social committee?
Ten, Twenty

Now how many of them have worked all through the night to help out the runners on the relay for life?

I hear some whispers. I think you might guess who we are talking about with the next clue.

Who has such skill and dedication but still can't make a decent cup of coffee.

Yes it can only be the one and only Lesley Franks..
